Ditau focuses on the development and implementation of public private partnership (PPP) projects in the health sector across the African continent in partnership with individual African governments, investors, health care providers and funders in the relevant country. These PPP projects will include:
The Managing Director (MD) of Ditau has extensive experience in developing and implementing different models of PPP projects from both the public and private side of the project. He initiated and implemented one of the first Health PPP project on the African continent whilst working in the public sector and successfully responded and implemented 2 PPP projects whilst working in the private sector. All 3 projects are still operational. The total number of beds is about 800. 4 primary health care clinics were also developed as part of the pioneering Lesotho PPP project.
