Ditau will endeavour to establish a consortium of individuals and entities relevant to each project. Ditau will take into cognizance the local or citizenship empowerment requirements of each country. The consortium will generally include:
The established consortium will then register the contracting Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Company or Concessionaire in terms of the local company registration process. The SPV will usually appoint the following subcontractors:
Ditau will raise project finance funding from local commercial banks as well as DFI’s on the continent and from the rest of the world. The MD has experience in raising funds for these projects and is well known in the health and development funding sector.
Ditau is a responsible corporate citizen that believes in the empowerment of employees and the community. The MD has extensive experience in Social investments. He managed a Corporate Social Investment budget of about R25 million per annum.
Ditau adheres to the values of sustainable development. It will adhere to international agreements on the reduction of the carbon footprint and will therefore implement environmentally friendly projects. The MD served as a founding member of the Sustainability Committee that implemented these initiatives in his previous employment. He also served as a Director of this Listed Company which is part of the Global Reporting Initiative Index of the JSE. He also participated in initiatives to implement King III Good Corporate Governance Codes recommendations. The MD serves or served on a number of boards of private companies and statutory councils and bodies and has hands on experience with governance issues and business ethics.
Ditau will ensure the implementation of quality improvement plans in Health projects. The MD has hands on experience in Health Accreditation, patient safety and clinical governance initiatives. He is a Medical Doctor and is still registered as a Radiation Oncology Specialist in South Africa.
